Regional Social Mobility Scholarship

In alignment with the University’s long-term international strategy, students accepted from the following countries will be eligible to apply for the scholarship: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Belarus, Croatia, Kosovo, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Russia.

Considerations for awarding the scholarship will include professional accomplishments and the income situation of the candidates. The scholarship will be awarded in an amount covering 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fee, subject to the decision of a committee designated by the Rector and the Chancellor. The number of scholarship recipients will depend on the size of the University’s budget earmarked for this purpose from its revenue.

The scholarship will be granted for the entire duration of the training, as long as the scholarship recipient earns at least 15 credits per semester. Unless this requirement is met, the scholarship awarded will be terminated automatically without further notification.

Application for the scholarship

Applications for the scholarship can be submitted between 6 May - 3 June 2024.

If you are a citizen of a country which is eligible to apply for the scholarship, and you have successfully applied on either apply.mome.hu or felvi.hu for a self-funded programme, you will need to upload a financial disclosure form during the portfolio submission period. You will receive an email at the end of April with information about where to upload the declaration and how to apply for the scholarship. You must complete submission of your application by 4 June 2023. Please note that those who have applied for a state-funded programme on felvi.hu are NOT eligible to apply for the Regional Mobility Scholarship.
